Project Overview
The NWCG Interagency I-Suite Stabilization and Support (IISS) Project, was chartered in 2003 by NWCG to stabilize the existing Windows Based I-Suite application. The IISS Project is the first phase of multiple projects that are intended to put in place an Incident Based Automation (IBA) System and develop standards for incident processes on an interagency basis.

The major development work for Phase 1 was completed with the release of Version 6.03, in August 2006. The project is officially in the Operation and Maintenance (O&M) phase as of October 1, 2006. The O&M phase will run concurrently with the development of the new Web based version, e-ISuite. O&M consists of the following:
- Minor application changes to meet the current incident business need
- Limited bar code / AIT technology; in coordination with the ICBS project
- Changes mandated by policy
